1. Data Controller

The controller of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR") and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the "Data Protection Act") is:

2. Purpose of Processing

We process personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Registration of children for tennis training — processing data of children from age 5 and their legal guardians for the purpose of managing registrations, organising the training process, and communicating with legal guardians.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis for processing personal data is the explicit consent of the data subject (the child's legal guardian) pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Section 13(1)(a) of the Data Protection Act.

Consent is given by ticking the relevant checkbox on the registration form on the website detskytenis.sk.

Providing consent is voluntary. However, without granting consent, it is not possible to process the child's registration for tennis training.

4. Categories of Personal Data Processed

We process the following categories of personal data:

Child's data:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth

Legal guardian's (parent's) data:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

5. Recipients of Personal Data

Personal data may be disclosed to the following recipients:

  • Web3Forms (web3forms.com) — a form processing service provider through which data from the registration form is technically delivered to the controller. Data is transmitted via an encrypted connection and Web3Forms retains it only for the time necessary to deliver the message.
  • Authorised persons of the controller — coaches and organisers of tennis training at TK ŠTK Šamorín who have access to data solely to the extent necessary to perform their duties.

Personal data is not subject to cross-border transfer to third countries outside the European Economic Area, unless required by the operation of the Web3Forms service. In such cases, the transfer is safeguarded by appropriate safeguards in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR.

6. Data Retention Period

We retain personal data for the following period:

  • Until the end of the current tennis season + 1 year, or
  • Until consent is withdrawn by the data subject,

whichever occurs first.

Upon expiry of the retention period, personal data will be promptly and irreversibly deleted.

7. Rights of Data Subjects

As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act:

a) Right of access (Article 15 GDPR)

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, to access such data and information about the processing.

b) Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)

You have the right to have inaccurate personal data concerning you corrected and to have incomplete personal data completed.

c) Right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR)

You have the right to request the deletion of personal data concerning you, particularly if you withdraw your consent to processing and there is no other legal basis for continued processing.

d) Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)

You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data in cases specified by the GDPR.

e) Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit that data to another controller.

f) Right to object (Article 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in cases specified by the GDPR.

g) Right to withdraw consent (Article 7(3) GDPR)

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to its withdrawal. You may withdraw your consent by sending an email to info@tksamorin.sk or in writing to the controller's address.

h) Right to lodge a complaint (Article 77 GDPR)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

8. Cookies

The website detskytenis.sk does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies are used, which are required for the proper functioning of the website. These cookies do not require consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC).

9. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR takes place during the processing of personal data.

10. Security of Processing

The controller has adopted appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, deletion, or other unauthorised processing, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR.

Data transmission through the registration form is secured using the HTTPS encrypted protocol.

11. Final Provisions

This privacy policy is valid and effective as of 25 March 2026.

The controller reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Data subjects will be informed of any changes through the website detskytenis.sk.
